This exhibition is a mother-daughter dialogue about depression, emotional escape, helplessness, and overwhelm.
It emerges from a shared, difficult journey.
From the feeling — as a mother, a daughter, a human being — of not being enough.
Each of us tells this story in her own language:
One through photography, the other through painting.
Together, we give voice to a time of emotional struggle and isolation that has left its mark
.
Together — and each in her own way — we are trying to find a way through.
This exhibition is a quiet call.
A look back — and inward.
It speaks of pain that had no words.
Of being lost, of searching, of courage and honesty.
It is a journey through the wounds of childhood —
And those passed down through generations,
Unchallenged, unspoken.
We are only humans —
Trapped in our thoughts, building fragile worlds
Until they collapse.
And then we must find the strength
To see what we are capable of.
To rediscover ourselves.
This is not only our story
But a hidden pain many carry in silence.
It is about growing up, stumbling, and learning to understand.
We hope this exhibition is a gentle invitation
To the ones with a shared struggle —
To find the courage to use your own voice.
When words are no longer enough,
Art may guide us closer —
To one another,
And to the parts of ourselves we thought we had lost,
But still deeply love.
Be strong —
Even when the darkness feels endless.
